An AramGRC community initiative

AI Safety Lab for Institutions

Building better resources for responsible AI.

We partner with colleges and universities to host AI Safety Labs on campus: open communities where students learn to make AI safe, fair and well-governed, and put that knowledge to work for the public good.

Why we're doing this

Responsible AI shouldn't be a privilege. It should be shared.

AI is transforming how the world works — but the skills to make it safe, ethical and accountable are among the rarest anywhere. At AramGRC, we believe that knowledge belongs to everyone, not just a few companies.

So we're giving back. Through AI Safety Labs hosted at institutions, we help students and educators learn responsible AI together, build resources the whole ecosystem can use, and work on problems that genuinely matter to society — fairness, transparency, safety and privacy for real people.

This is our way of returning value to the community that makes technology possible. It starts in India, and it's open to the world.

What it is

A community for responsible AI, on your campus.

An AI Safety Lab is part learning community, part project workshop. Students learn how to test, govern and improve AI systems, then apply those skills to real, open projects. AramGRC provides the structure; your students bring the energy.

Learn responsible AI

A guided, free path into AI safety and AI governance — covering ISO 42001, the EU AI Act and India's DPDP Act.

Build open resources

Students create evaluations, checklists, benchmarks and tools — shared openly so others can learn and build too.

Projects for society

Real work on fairness, safety, transparency and privacy — responsible AI aimed at public benefit, not hype.

Community & mentors

Guest talks, hackathons and a growing network that connects students with practitioners and each other.

For your institution

Future-ready students. A responsible-AI reputation. At no cost to start.

  • An industry-guided learning path in AI safety & governance for your students
  • Guest speakers, mentors, hackathons and access to a wider practitioner network
  • Real projects, portfolios and open resources your students create and keep
  • A community students stay part of after graduation — an alumni and talent network
  • A future-ready, responsible-AI story for your department and your community

A shared build

We bring the program. You bring the students.

We run the curriculum, mentoring and community so your faculty aren't starting from scratch. You provide students, a room, and a faculty champion. The first cohort is a non-commercial pilot — designed to prove value before anything scales.

AramGRC provides

  • A ready-made responsible-AI curriculum and certificate
  • Mentors, guest speakers and community support
  • Project ideas, templates and open resources
  • Events, hackathons and network access

Your institution provides

  • A faculty champion to sponsor the lab
  • Students and a small core team
  • A room or slot to meet (in person or hybrid)
  • A shared commitment to responsible AI

How it works

How a partnership starts — one semester, three simple stages.

STEP 01

Say hello

Reach out and tell us about your institution and students.

STEP 02

Align

We agree a light MoU, name a faculty champion, and form a small student core team.

STEP 03

Launch

We kick off the first community cohort together — with clear, measurable outcomes over one semester. Then we scale what works.

What we stand for

Responsible AI, as a public good.

Safety first

We help make AI systems trustworthy: tested, transparent and accountable to the people they affect.

Open by default

We publish and share. A rising tide of responsible-AI skill lifts everyone.

People over hype

Technology should serve society. We build for fairness, dignity and the public interest.

Get in touch

Institutions, let's build it together.

Whether you're a college, university, non-profit or partner who shares our belief in responsible AI for a better world, we'd love to hear from you. Reach out and we'll take it from there.
